Bowhurst Classic Pack

by Michael Satterfield

I recently got back from Nicaragua and generally, I carry my travel messenger bag, it is covered with patches from all over the world as I go on my adventures. But recently the guys over at Bowhurst sent me one of their Classic Packs to try out and I figured what better way to test it out than to take it on a backroads adventure across Nicaragua.

First thing, the bag is really well made, the hardware, trim, and materials are great. I liked the laptop compartment that is built-in, the bag offers modern features with a classic timeless look. The drawstring top under the flap keeps everything in its place, and the leather appointments dress the bag up nicely.

It's surprisingly large I packed three days worth of clothing, my camera, lens, GoPro, iPad, and all of my chargers for my flight down to Managua. It's really a great bag for a weekend away or for running around town, I know I will be using it as the weather warms up and I start to ride my bike to work more often. The bag also attracted several compliments at the airport and in-country from people who loved the style and construction.

Each bag is handcrafted and the Classic is priced at just $100 with free shipping in the USA, it's a functional and stylish design that exudes quality. The Bowhurst design studio is located in the heart of Bermondsey, London, an area famous for its leather and textiles production and you can feel the heritage in each piece.
