The 2016 Honda Pilot has been described as a "Big CR-V" and with similar styling and driving dynamic I see why. The first thing you notice is the striking good looks of the new Pilot, while the old Pilot looked more like a minivan with a stretched out hood the 2016 models is more inline with the crossover look of its rivals.

Inside is what you would expect from Honda, it's clean, functional, and everything is where you would expect it to be. It is not a flashy interior by any means, but Honda has never been know for their ostentatiousness.

The cargo area is large and well designed with ample storage and with a reconfigurable cargo floor and fold flat seating creating a number of configurations for hauling cargo and passengers. The new push-button action makes getting into the surprisingly roomy third row a breeze.

Driving the Pilot is similar to the Crosstour that we reviewed last week (see it here), quite, smooth, and comfortable. The 280hp V6 is responsive and offers a combined fuel economy of 22 MPG, impressive for a SUV with a 3rd row. For more on the Pilot visit the official Honda website HERE
