It is no secret that I am a big fan of Gulf Racing colors, from our project Fairlane to my clothing company M&P Speed Shop Gulf is a brand I have a real connection with. Tied to legendary race cars, films, and modern-day sports car racing, there is a lot to love about the classic blue and orange livery. Watchmakers almost all seem to be car enthusiasts, so it is no surprise that there are a number of great Gulf Racing-inspired watches on the market. Boutique watchmaker Maurice de Mauriac is owned by a classic car and motorsports enthusiast, a quick look at the company's website and it's clear that there is a lot of automotive inspiration behind their designs. This Le Mans model features a Swiss-Made Mechanical-Automatic Movement and Gulf Racing color NATO strap.
