Donald N. Frey, Designer of the Ford Mustang, Dies at 86

Donald N. Frey, the engineer who spearheaded the design and development of the original Ford Mustang, the car that started the “pony car” wars has died. That first Mustang the rolled out in the 1964 to become one of the most successful car introductions in automotive history. Frey passed away March 5 in Evanston, Ill., where he lived. He was 86.
