Morgan's & Phillip's Next SEMA Project

TGR Staff

Morgan's & Phillip's Speed Apparel™ a licensee of Gulf Oil in the USA has released a rendering of their next SEMA show project car. A 1967 Ford Fairlane 500 inspired by the famous Gulf Racing GT40's of the '60s. "It's really our interpretation of what the car might look like had a team of NASCAR guys decided to go road racing in Europe in the 1960s," said Michael Satterfield the creative director of M&P™.

The car is an all-original (and factory powder blue) 1967 Ford Fairlane 500, equipped from the factory with a manual transmission. The car will feature a number of period-correct modifications and of course a number of styling cues from the GT40's that raced at Le Mans in the 1960s.

Details on the sponsors of the project will be released shortly by M&P™, but a number of companies have already committed to the build. M&P™ in conjunction with TheGentlemanRacer.com™ will be doing video series documenting the build.
