In Tokyo space is a premium and with tight alley-like roads, traffic packed main thoroughfares, and limited parking, the scooter is the vehicle of choice for many in Japan's capital city. Unlike the US where scooters are seen more as a fun weekend toy or something to rent at a beach resort for a weekend, in Tokyo scooters are used for everything from daily commuting to delivery services. Here are a few of the unique scooters I snapped on my recent trip to Tokyo.
