Race Inspired Art

Car enthusiasts have been collecting parts from crashed or abandoned race cars and hanging them up on the wall of their garages, shops, and offices since the early days of motorsports. It's like hanging your favorite football players jersey, but while a jersey can be ordered from any online fan store, tracking down used race parts from your favorite team can be nearly impossible.

This is where two artists from Belgium, known for street art, help fill in the gap by creating unique race-inspired artwork on reproduction metal and composite panels. Edmond Thonnard and Jean-Denis Claessen work together to create one of a kind hand-made art. These aren't vinyl wraps, each panel is painted by hand and then distressed using automotive materials like tires, used oil, and other debris that might be encountered on a race track.

Pieces include contemporary Porsche and Aston Martin endurance cars to classic racers from BMW and Mini Cooper, the duo of artists brings iconic liveries like Gulf Oil, Martini, John Player Special, Marlboro, and more into your garage on real OEM quality automotive panels. No two hoods, doors, fenders, or signs, are alike and regardless of where you display the panel, it is sure to be a conversation piece.
