Summer is here and the team at Canon has released a fun Instant-Print camera that is perfect for capturing those summer moments. The IVY CLIQ instantly prints your images on 2X2 o3 2X3 inch photo paper with no ink required, plus unlike instant cameras of the past, it has an SD card slot allowing you to save digital versions of your printed photos.

The 5-megapixel camera has an optical viewfinder for taking photos of your friends, and a built-in convexed selfie mirror on the front so you can frame up the perfect selfie. It holds 10 sheets of, peel and stick instant-print-paper and has a reprint button so you can make multip copies of the last shot you took to share with friends.

You can also connect your smartphone to the app via Bluetooth, and print photos from your taken by your smartphone and transfer photos from the CLIQ to your phone. You can even use filters and add effects, frames, text, and stickers to your 2" x 3" photos before printing them.

We tested the IVY CLIQ on a day trip to College Station, taking photos of Jennifer and testing out the selfie mode. Canon has made the IVY CLIQ as simple as possible with just four buttons. A power switch, a paper size selector, a reprint button, and of course the shutter button. The aspect ratio and zoom are fixed, there is no self-timer, no tripod mount, or video mode. This is a camera that is built for capturing the fun, in-the-moment, snaps with friends.
