LEAKED: First Look at Ford Mustang Mach-E

by Michael Satterfield

Ford inadvertently leaked the full specs and images of their controversial 2021 Mustang Mach-E electric SUV, days before it's official unveiling at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The leak came when Ford pushed the Mach-E website live and then quickly took it down, but as with everything on the internet someone got screenshots, macheforum.com user buzznwood who posted the screenshots a full three days before the launch.

At a glance, the Mach-E is impressive with up to a 300-mile range, a 0-60 time in the mid 3 seconds, and pricing starting at $43,895 and that is before the US Federal tax credit of $7,500. The first editions will be offered in late 2020 and should provide stiff competition to Tesla's Model Y which is set to launch in mid-2020.

Check out more images and specs below:

  1. The Mustang name remained untarnished after the 1974-78 "Mustang II"... why not take another shot.

  2. If it didn't have the Mustang name no one would be complaining because it's poised to be a great EV. It's not even like Ford is removing the Mustang Coupe. https://www.macheclub.com/threads/should-ford-change-the-mach-es-name.203/page-2#post-2174
