Fisher & Baker Essex Hybrid Shorts

by Michael Satterfield

The team from Fisher + Baker sent over a pair of the latest all-weather shorts for me to try out. Summer in the South means I am living in shorts unless I have to go to a meeting that requires cowboy boots or a suit. But the new Essex Hybrid Short has quickly become my favorite pair of everyday shorts. Made out of breathable 2-way stretch material with taped inseams and an excellent fit, means they are comfortable all day long.

The contemporary seven-inch inseam also means they have a clean modern look that can be dressed up or down, they fit in at our local county club, or just out in the country for a day of fishing. Their rugged construction also means that they can handle a day on the lake, and if you do fall in the fine mesh pockets won't retain water.

Priced at $128 they aren't the least expensive sports shorts on the market but they might just be the best-made shorts money can buy. You can learn more and shop Fisher + Baker's entire line at FisherandBaker.com.

While Fisher + Baker did send me a pair of shorts to try out, I have not been paid for this post and all opinions are my own.
