McLaren has just broken its fourth production-car lap record with drive Andy Pilgrim taking the McLaren Senna setting the Grand Course record of just 2:02.86 at NCM Motorsports Park, Kentucky, the fastest time set by production car ever in Automobile Magazine's ‘Pro Racer’s Take.

This new record is added to the Senna's accolades as the fastest production car after becoming the fastest car ever in Car and Driver's Lightning Lap competition at Virginia International Raceway in 2019, it also holds the lap record at Weather Tech Raceway Laguna Seca finishing the legendary course in just 1:27.62. But the Senna doesn't just hold records on the road course in 2019 it also finished 1.12 seconds faster than any other car on the drag strip, running a 10.08 on the quarter-mile.

Even though the production of the McLaren Senna was ended in 2019, it is still setting records well into 2020.
