Groesbeck Grand Prix Sell Out of Tickets Days Before Event

TGR Staff

The inaugural running of the Groesbeck Grand Prix - A Motorsports Festival has announced it officially sold out, via a social media post. Due to COVID-19 the event had a limited number of tickets that would be available to allow attendees space to spread out. Drivers from as far away as North Carolina will be taking on time trial on a closed public road, while inside a historic pioneer fort, a unique group of cars will compete in the first-ever Mexia Concours.

The organization chose to benefit the nationally renowned Drive Toward a Cure foundation which supports Parkinson’s Disease research and patient care, after learning both of the charity’s affinity within the car enthusiast community and especially due to its ties to Baylor College of Medicine’s Parkinson’s Disease Center and Movement Disorders Clinic in Houston.

The event is planned to be held annually, so if you missed out, you will have a chance to attend next year.
