The inaugural running of the Groesbeck Grand Prix - A Motorsports Festival drew automotive enthusiasts from across the country to the small city of Groesbeck, Texas. The event which has been called by some as the "Goodwood of Texas" featured a 1.2-mile time trial, the Mexia Concours, and for spectators various vendors and food trucks.

The Mexia Concours featured a wide range of cars from a classic Ford T-Bucket to rare European Sportscars and even a wide range of Scooters. The motorsports portion faced rain on Saturday but the weather cleared and Sunday was a beautiful day on the course. Craig McCormick set the modern car course record of 47.34 seconds in his Ford Mustang, while Paul Haggar in his vintage Chevron B23 set the course record of 48.12 for historic cars.
