GT Racing Coming to Nashville

TGR Staff - 07/29/2022

GT America powered by AWS heads to the hills of north-central Tennessee August 5-7 for the sophomore running of the Music City Grand Prix. This event was a paddock and fan favorite during its 2021 season debut, as it’s one of the most entertaining for both driver and spectator. The 11-turn, the 2.17-mile circuit has everything: elevation changes, hard braking zones, slow and fast corners, and blistering straights. With a field of 31 cars spread across SRO3, GT2, and GT4, gaining position will be no easy task during a pair of thundering 40-minute races.

GT America is sports car sprint racing at its finest. Featuring multiple classes, no pit stops, and just 40 minutes to get it done, it's a mad dash to the finish line as international motorsports’ top manufacturers duke it out for top-podium finishes. For this fifth weekend of the 2022 season, racers will line up in grid behind the wheel of Aston Martins, Audis, BMWs, Chevrolets, Ferraris, Fords, Mercedes-AMGs, Porsches, and Toyotas.
