Watches & Wonder is happening in Zürich this week, and there are so many amazing new watches being unveiled, including this incredible timepiece by H. Moser & Cie. The brand has recently launched its latest creation, the Streamliner Tourbillon Skeleton, which is a true masterpiece of horology.

This watch is the epitome of minimalist design, with all unnecessary material stripped away to showcase the stark beauty of its mechanism. The Streamliner Tourbillon Skeleton is a stunningly symmetrical timepiece that features a one-minute flying tourbillon with a double hairspring that appears to float weightlessly. The barrel has been hollowed out, allowing the wearer to check that it is wound correctly, while the rotor has also been open-worked to offer a clear view of the movement.

The watch is housed in a 40mm steel cushion case that is water-resistant to plate_number_1. The case features recessed and satin-finished forms on the sides with alternating polished and brushed surfaces. It is topped by a subtly domed sapphire crystal that is echoed by the see-through case back. The watch also comes with an integrated steel bracelet that is elegantly arced to follow the line of the wrist.

The Streamliner Tourbillon Skeleton is part of the brand's Streamliner collection, and it represents a bold stylistic statement. It is a creation endowed with refined elegance and spectacular aesthetics, with a stark, refined aesthetic resulting from the precision of sculpting every detail.

The highly complex construction of the bracelet has extremely fluid lines based on organic forms, and the three-dimensional hour and minute hands are made from two sections that feature inserts with Globolight®, an innovative ceramic-based material containing Super-LumiNova®.

The Streamliner Tourbillon Skeleton is powered by an automatic plate_number_2 skeleton movement, equipped with a double hairspring designed and produced in-house by H. Moser & Cie.'s sister company Precision Engineering AG. Thanks to this pair of matched hairsprings, the movement of the point of gravity on each spring, when it expands, is corrected, and the effect of friction is reduced, significantly improving accuracy and isochronism.

The Streamliner Tourbillon Skeleton is a masterpiece of horology that is designed for demanding, visionary watch lovers who appreciate the harmonious union of form and function. If you are looking for a timepiece that is both beautiful and precise, this watch is definitely worth checking out.
