Making Memories This Spring at Panama City Beach

I just got back from a Gulf Coast road trip and while we went to a lot of different beach cities the one I can't wait to go back and visit is Panama City Beach. PCB is one of those places that looks right out of a postcard, white sand, turquoise water, and a classic pier stretching out into the Gulf of Mexico, it's everything you expect for an exotic beach destination.

Staying near the Pier Park was very convenient since we didn't have to drive anywhere unless we really wanted to, renting bicycles from Bike the Beach across from our hotel let us explore while taking in the sea air and seeing much of what PCB had to offer (if pedaling isn't your thing they rent golf carts). Our hotel was also near Pier Park which has a number of restaurants, shops, and entertainment options.

A vacation at the beach doesn't mean you have to just hang out on the beach, with so many things to do you can really plan a trip to PCB and make it yours. From a romantic getaway to exploring nature by kayak, or if you want to get your adrenaline pumping, take an airboat tour and or rent some ski-doos, there really is something for everyone. We enjoyed biking along the beach, dinner at Capt. Anderson's, and visiting the Panama City Beach Winery where we explored their very beachy collection of boutique wines, you have to try the Key Lime Wine.

Panama City Beach also is host to a number of festivals and events, from UNwineD a wine, craft beer and food festival that pairs award-winning wines, spirits, and craft beers from around the world with renowned regional chefs to Jeep Beach Jam a celebration of the world's most loved four-wheel drive vehicle, PCB has an event for you.

Some upcoming events include:

March 1-2        PCB Mardi Gras & Music Festival
March 6-9        Emerald Coast Cruizin’ Car Show
March 15-17    Emerald Coast Boat & Lifestyle Show
March 22-23    UNwineD
April 24-28      Seabreeze Jazz Festival
April 26-28      SandJam
May 1-5           Thunder Beach Spring Rally
May 14-19       Jeep Beach Jam
July 4               Real. Fun. Fourth.
