Established in 1670 Charleston, South Carolina is a city rich in history and culture, with a range of activities and attractions that are sure to appeal to any visitor. It is always one of my favorite stops when I am road-tripping up the Atlantic Coast and it's on our list again this spring, if you have time to stop in "The Holy City" here are ten things to do in that will allow you to experience all that Charleston has to offer:

Visit the historic Charleston City Market: Located in the heart of downtown Charleston, the Charleston City Market is a must-see for any visitor. This open-air market is home to a variety of local artisans, craftspeople, and food vendors, and is a great place to shop for souvenirs, try local specialties, or just soak up the atmosphere.


Take a tour of the Charleston Tea Garden: Located on Wadmalaw Island, just a short drive from Charleston, the Charleston Tea Garden is the only tea plantation in America. Visitors can take a guided tour of the plantation to learn about the history of tea in America, see the tea plants up close, and even sample a variety of teas.
