BMW Motorrad has introduced a pair of cutting-edge ConnectedRide Smartglasses featuring head-up display technology. What was once considered the stuff of science fiction has now become a reality with the BMW Motorrad ConnectedRide Smartglasses. These innovative goggles utilize head-up display technology, already familiar in the automotive industry, to project real-time data directly into the rider's field of vision. Essential information such as navigation directions, speed, and gear position is seamlessly integrated, promoting anticipatory and safer motorcycle riding.

Connecting the BMW Motorrad ConnectedRide Smartglasses to your smartphone is effortless through Bluetooth technology and the accompanying app. Before or during your ride, you can easily adjust the projection's position and settings using the motorcycle's handlebar-mounted multi-controller.

Alongside enhanced safety features and a user-friendly interface, these smart glasses offer exceptional comfort. The design of the glasses and the display considers the unique requirements of motorcyclists. The BMW Motorrad ConnectedRide Smartglasses can be adjusted to fit a variety of helmets and face shapes, ensuring a comfortable experience even during long journeys. The goggles provide up to ten hours of continuous operation with a lithium-ion battery.

The package includes two sets of certified UVA/UVB lenses. The first set, with 85% transparency, is ideal for helmets with built-in sun visors, while the second set features tinted lenses, transforming the smart glasses into stylish sunglasses.

For riders who wear prescription glasses, the lenses can be customized and adjusted to meet their visual acuity requirements (up to a maximum of 4 diopters) by an optician using an RX adapter. Alternatively, those who prefer contact lenses can wear the ConnectedRide Smartglasses normally. The set also comes with a convenient case and a USB charging cable.
